Trafalgar Hire Ltd supply a wide range of machinery, equipment and tools to the construction and engineering industry.

The hire ranges from a simple disc saw or generator to a 35ton excavator or a Self erecting Crane. The hire can be for a little as one day on some items and can remain on hire for as long as required.

We specialise in the hire of modern machinery capable of undertaking the smallest of projects to large scale bulk earthworks. The majority of machinery comes from the JCB line (larger machines), mini diggers from the reputable Kubota line and mix of Doosan machines of all sizes.

We also stock and supply dumpers from Thwaites and Terex from 1ton to 9ton with dump-trucks available from25ton to 40ton. We also have bowsers of all capacities, generators, jet washers, small vehicles and tipper lorries, disc saws and small tools

Unlike many hire companies we have specialist equipment to support our machinery and standard items; these include a lo-loader for moving other plant and machinery (operating nationally), a self-erecting mantis crane, a dozer, a crusher and screener for the increasingly popular recycling of hard core materials on site to use for various filling operations.

We have NEBOSH qualified staff who can also carry out your H&S requirements for plant operations, including risk assessments and method statements, lifting plans etc and we even offer machine drivers, operatives and other labour to suit all your requirements

We currently supply various plant and machinery to various developers, main contractors, sub-contractors and the general public, our most recent client is PGC Contractors LTD, who’s current hire includes: 2nr JCB JS220 machines, 3nr JCB JS130 machines, 1nr 14t Doosan Machine, Bowsers, Dumpers, Dump Trucks. These operate on Thomas Vale, Sisk, Leadbitter and ISG sites along with various others.
